On Thursday 11/16/2023, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, and the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Mithaq Nehme, held a discussion panel entitled:
“Classification of Alzheimer Disease Based on Normalized Hu Moment Invariants and Multi-classifiers: KNN, and linear SVM”
The seminar was delivered by the lecturer, Dr. Arwa Hamid Muhammad Taqi, and the possibility of classifying Alzheimer’s disease was discussed using medical images taken of the patient using machine learning techniques and calculating the accuracy of the technique and the time taken to complete this classification.
